Research Project

Monitoring of heart activity using noninvasive measurements of heart-induced vibrations on the chest surface

Vineeth Vanga joined our team as a sophomore. He is majoring in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology on the Pre-Med track with a minors in Pre-Law and Medical Humanities at MSU. He is apart of the Shackouls Honors College and College of Agriculture and Life Science. He serves as a Dr. A Randle & Marilyn W. White Pre Health Ambassador and Vice President for Honors OnStage, while being a member of the American Society for Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, MSU Speech and Debate Council, and TheatreMSU. Vineeth also volunteers with hospitalized pediatric patients through UMMC’s Child Life program and hopes to attend medical school after graduation. Outside of research, Vineeth is an avid enjoyer of fantasy series with his favorite authors being Marissa Meyers & Brandon Sanderson.
